I'm Queen fan. Teo Torriate is one of my fave Queen's songs. Beautifull. Thanks Brian...!

Fun fact:
you always recognize when a Queen bootleg is from a Japan gig, because of the high pitched screams by the audience. :-)
One thing I would have loved to see in the "Bohemian Rhapsody" movie is Queen's first arrival in Japan. Queen were total oblivious how popular they were there already. They thought no one would know them and when they arrived at the airport they wondered for whom all those masses of enthusiastic fans are there, and were totally shocked that they were all here for Queen...^^

手を取り合って このまま行こう
愛する人よ
静かな宵に
光を灯し
愛しき 教えを抱き

Thank you for picking up Teo Torriatte

Thats one of the things I love about Queen: their gratitude, appreciation and love for their fans. The Japanese people didn't just love Queen, but were the very first to truly acknowledge the group as Rock GODS! When Queen first toured there, no joke it was like Beatlemania for them-throngs of screaming fans, receiving loads of gifts, the works. It was really overwhelming for the group. Queen in turn fell in love with Japanese culture and spiritualism.

Sassy - fabulous reactions. And you have come to know a group that continues to exceed our expectations, even when we revisit their work from 45 years ago. Special request from me - A Winter's Tale off the Made in Heaven album. Just another, extraordinary tribute to a man who was so desperately ill at the time, yet the power and passion in his voice, and the compelling message - well, you will get it when you hear it. And how many number 1 Queen songs will that now make for you? Easy - all of them!!

I love how the Japanese fans go crazy!
Freddie had serious voice problems in Japan 1979 (and was still good!), luckily his throat recovered in the early 80's.

During this leg of the tour Freddie's voice was severely damaged. Despite this, he's much better than nearly all the nowadays singers around. I get goosebumps every time I listen to this live rendition of the song.

I suggest you check out the whole studio version, its phenomenal. As gorgeous as they are live, they never sang the whole song live.

Freddie's a designer, designed clothes as well. Doctor Brian May is an astrophysicist, John is an electronic and electrical engineer and believe it or not, Roger is a dentist.

Great reaction. It's a beautiful song! Have you heard 'It's a Hard Life'? Brian has said he thinks its one of the most beautiful songs Freddie ever wrote and I definitely agree.

This song makes me feel very proud of being Japanese. And I hope that you to look up the meaning of Japanese lyrics as they are beautiful like the melody of this song if possible. In a word, no one else can warm my heart as much as Queen. Thank you Sassy Ocampo.

I find I am really liking their earlier stuff. This is just such a melody and his voice is just amazing. I can’t even believe the comments that said his voice was bad during this performance like for real?!?! I wish I had a bad voice like that. And Bryan on the piano is just a really.
