Building A Solid Oak Farmhouse Dining Table

My parents have been complaining about their old Pine table for years but didn't think they could afford something nicer and recently talked about getting at least a nice top made for their existing table. I said I could probably make the top and then said I might as well remake the base too and they could sell their current table as a whole table!
This is the first really big piece of furniture I've ever made so it was quite scary! I've never made a tabletop that big (and it was so much work I will not be jumping into doing it again anytime soon haha) and I've never turned legs before! I don't have a skew or the skills to knock a table leg out in 5 minutes flat but I took my time with gouges and a scrapers and with a lot of sanding I managed to get a consistent set of legs that I really like the look of. It doesn't matter if they're not perfect as we were going for a rustic farmhouse table look!
I've also never made dovetail joints before and had a go at half blind dovetails for the front of the drawer, it was really tricky but I managed to make a passable dovetail joint (with the help of some sawdust and glue) I didn't film that as I wanted to focus!
I used osmo polyx hardwax oil as the finish.
It was a lot more work than I thought it would be but I'm really happy with the result and have been enjoying eating at it. I have a whole new level of respect for furniture builders now.
