Here's a look at the 1283sg from Savox. 416 in/oz of torque at 6v with a speed of .13 sec! Here's a look at how it performs.

Here's a link to all of the specs at SavoxUSA:

SCX10 - Great after market support, great scale features, but you do have to improve some obvious weak points in the truck.

TF2 - Awesome scale features, one of the best looking bodies on the market (it's like $100 for a replacement). No electronics included, and very little aftermarket support besides RC4WD.

I went with the SCX10 for all the aftermarket support to trick it out a bit. Plus I plan to pick up the Jeep and do a 2.2 build on the Honcho and transfer parts to the jeep.

I do plan to got all the mechanicals and electrics installed. Next step is to clean up the wiring and incorporate some kind of waterproof box for the esc, bec, lighting, recv, ect. servo will be easy to water proof. I don't plan to submerge the truck, just be able to hit some creeks. I just hate to plasti-dip that beautiful servo!

Yep, they're the Vanquish Ti Currie links. I had the Axial Aluminum links, which included the Axial steering links, but after I installed the Vanquish Stage 1 kits (Steering knuckles (high steering), C Hubs and Lock outs)) the Axial links were too short. It all works great now.

B is either for Bind or Battery depending on your receiver. Battery is preferred. In my Spektrum sr 3100, I have a Bat/Bind port that the Cap is plugged into and my transponder is plugged into the aux

I plan to do some dry runs here next week. I still have to clean up the wiring and start waterproofing for Spring.

Hey, didn't know either a capacitor or a bec could yell at me. :P
The servo should ONLY get 6.0 Volt, never more or you ruin it. There are servos from Savox which can do up to 7.4 Volts but NOT this one.
For the BEC, you can hook the bec with a Castle Link to your PC and set the voltage between 4.8 and 9.0 Volts. Do 6.0 and you are ready to go. Nice truck, I do have an Axial SCX10 Dingo myself.
Have a nice day.

Very nice servo would perform well even in an 1/8 scale truggy with that much torque. That Castle B.E.C. should be cutting the power down to 6.0 v. It may run up to 7.4v without incident but with 416.6 oz./in. at 6v I wouldn't risk the servo by running more than that. Great servo and more than enough for that light of a truck but I'll always take extra torque on a crawler. Are you planning on waterproofing it? I'd like to see a more detailed explanation of it if you decide to go that route.

Good call on the bec that will make that servo happy happy happy lol word of advice just from my crawler I learned that you need a breaking point in the steering I was running an metal horn on my servo with metal links and metal hubs and knuckles I hit a rock with the tire just right and it broke my servo I was running a high tech 6545

The shock on the servo stripped the gears and had to order replacements for it but that being a savox you might have better luck.

You can plug it into any empty channel since it will do it's job anywhere. Save some power to deliver it when it does not get enough.

Wow!  at least learn the basics before you start giving advice and calling yourself "rc network".  Some people who don't know that you're almost completely ignorant could be harmed by this misinformation, rube.

What voltage do you have the bec running at? Can a servo handle 11v

well all i can say is your truck is coming together and is awesome

I do plan to make a wrap up video on the 1.9 Honcho and the 2.2 Bronco. Just got back from a quick vaction and plan to do the videos this week before I start running Bronco.

No problem! If you have any other questions, I've deemed myself as the Vanquish compatbility spokesman! I've actually had them change product descriptions on thier site because they were incorrect!

Got it from RPP hobbies. In the exterior scale accessories section. I'll be doing a full overview of my SCX10 in the next couple of days. Stay tuned.

Yeah, I've stripped a 645 or 2! I usually run the 7955tg from Hitec in my crawlers/scalers and decided that this Savox would do the trick. Time will tell. I get you on the "point of breakage" It's always good to have a plastic part somewhere down the mine to break vs a $42 knuckle or $100 servo!

Cool deal! I have yet to really run this thing. I'm planning out all the wiring, waterproofing and still need to program the esc properly.

I mentioned that I was running a 3s Lipo because usually everyone asks. As for the BEC, I'm pretty new to it and am still researching all the technical on it.
