UPDATE: MAY 2021 Battleship Texas, is she floating answered, and a new project

this is part two of a two part series, in the first video I was asked the question :

"is she still floating, I heard she is sitting on the bottom and can not be repaired"

This video answers that question and also gives a short intro into an exciting new project I will be taking on with the USS Texas.

Very glad she's still floating, Her fight ain't over and is barely starting, she will get those much needed repairs so the next generation and the generation after can grow up learning about this mighty battleship.

the good old girl still standing on her own, its better than sitting in mud or stuck in concrete. hopefully Texas leaves in the Fall or next Spring as she deserves the repairs

Great job on the videos, I belive the only way to preserve her for many more generations would be permanent dry dock with enough overhead structure to protect her from the rain and sun. I realize that this wouldn't be popular with some people but it would sure keep future maintenance costs much much lower.

I wouldn’t expect them to attempt a move until after hurricane season, hopefully November if not spring 2022
