what you do if the the subnets are close like Subnet A needs 40 hosts and Subnet B needs 50 hosts, so you would select 62 hosts for both?

Start with IP address 192.168.1.0/24. Subnet the network into two equal portions. Use the following rules to develop your device address table.
• Routers use the first assignable address in the subnet
• Switches use the second assignable address in the subnet
• PCs use the last assignable address in the subnet
• PC-A uses the lower half of the subnet (subnet #1)
• PC-B uses the upper half of the subnet (subnet #2)

Thank you for all your help I have watching your videos and you have been a huge help. I'm picking up most everything quickly, but the ipv4 scheme is confusing me still. I have and mask of 192.168.1.0/24 subnet A 27 hosts subnet b 7 hosts. I have the packet tracer part down, I just need help with the scheme. can you help?

I'm not too sure on my current network though and I feel I might have gotten something wrong down the line. I think Subnet A is ok but Im unsure about B:
