I've only been to Japan on layover and got to use the neat electronic toilets in the airport. This was after a month of using Chinese squat toilets so it was a welcome change. My wife wants a vacation in Japan someday, so good to know I got some squat toilet practice, haha!

Oh those toilets I think are also common in Asia in general. I remember when my parents took me to Asia when I was a kid I was a bit shocked but at the same time oh ok well gotta do my business 😂

Upon googling, it looks like a red light combined with a green arrow is the same as a US "protected turn"... except that there can also be straights.

Those look like latrines... but tidier! Latrines honestly aren't that bad. Keeps you from spending 6 hours in there lol

After seeing how people drive for all these years, still dealing with people that don't know how a 4 way stop works, that light wouldn't deter them at all reina, in fact it gives them am excuse so they would be even more reckless
