If you are asking for help from a stranger or from a person you know but in a formal setting, Potrebbe aiutarmi is more polite than Puoi aiutarmi, which is what you would say if you were asking for help from a friend or from an acquaintance in a non-formal setting.

I really have hard time learning the word He just like the word He likes it's (Gli piaci) but The word He needs help is (Ha bisogno di aiuto)
Gli and Ha translates to He? Haystttt

Ha is avere conjugated to third person singular. Gli is the third-person indirect object pronoun.
