The guitar pedal market is f*cking ridiculous. I'm all for these Chinese clones disrupting things, because this and so many other pedals are actually priced too high. Makes no goddamn sense to pay more than $60 for a signal booster stompbox imo.

I've got a DemonFX and it is the best of all my overdrives (however I have mostly cheap ones, SD-1, Nux, Joyo) I plug it before Solar Chug and it sounds great :)

thank you for this, its a good review.having a cheaper option for an expensive pedal(for me who lives in a 3rd world country and pay is too low). that actually really close to the original is very good option.

They sound almost identical, but I think the DemonFX is a bit tighter

Hey thanks for the video!

It was me with the noisy pedal. Mine was hilariously louder as the only pedal in the chain. No matter what power supply or battery I used as the only device.

Also tried several guitars. Mine made white noise with all knobs all the way off. I could hear it in all my playing so I sent it back to the eBay seller.

I think it’s pretty cool and I am unsure if I got a bad one or what I’m hearing is a artifact of their crappy noise gate.

I have their BE-OD deluxe copy that I think is great. No issues with it.

Would love to see a video of you talking about your favorite amps. What’s great, what sucks, what’s overrated “forum knowledge” etc.

Why do the pedals have different settings??
If you are comparing, wouldn't it be better to have the same setting on both pedals or did I miss something?

DEMON FX IS TRYING HARD TO PRODUCE QUALITY BOXES.I HAVE THE RED REVV MODEL, THE JHS@ MODEL A NUX 6IXTY-5IVE A DEMON FREEDMAN DIRTY SHIRLEY BY DEMONFX AND A DIEZEL V4 ON THE WAY.THEY'RE SOUND QUALITY IS WAY BETTER THAN EVER 2 YRS AGO.NUX IS ANOTHER GOOD MAKER.

Is your NoiseGate after your Precision Drive or before in signal chain?

Yeah, I had the Demonfx one, great till it just stopped working, didn't misshandle it, didn't drop it, in smoke free room, also had a Mooer Plex type pedal, same thing, just stopped working, so, bottom line my advice, you wanna save money? Get a USED brand-name!

Why would you set the knobs the same when tolerances exist? You're supposed to tweak the knobs to get closest to the same sound from both as possible. Because there's a 100% guarantee the specs on those parts don't match the Horizon exactly 100%.
