this week i found so many lobster mushrooms, a species which is really a delicious collaboration between a parasite and a host mushroom. I also picked in a cemetery, which can be a great place to find mushrooms due to the old trees etc.

the dangers of eating wild mushrooms are OVERHYPED since only a few truly toxic. however - do not eat any wild mushroom of which you are not 100% sure of the identity. if you've never collected wild mushrooms before, its best to look up mushroom groups in your area to confer with experts, or post photos to forums. some very delicious edibles have toxic lookalikes, so u shouldn't risk it at all. happy foraging!!
