2024 Toyota Tacoma Vs 2024 Honda Ridgeline! Easy Choice...

The pickup options available in 2024 are getting fans excited already, but 2 options stand out more than others. In this video, we’ll compare the 2024 Honda Ridgeline to the Toyota Tacoma and give you our verdict…

THE INTERIOR
We'll be heading straight into the heart of these rides, and that is the interior, the space that makes your driving experience truly next level.

Let's kick it off with the 2023 Honda Ridgeline, a coven boasting a roomy and cozy interior for you and up to five buddies. Not to mention, its bed is ready to handle all your adventure gear.

This bad boy comes packed with breathtaking features that'll have you feeling like you're in a spaceship. We're talking about an 8-inch touchscreen, seamless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, a state-of-the-art sound system, and the must-haves, Bluetooth and USB ports.

But there's more; if you like a bit more luxury, you can upgrade with navigation, HD Radio, and even a moonroof for those starlit escapades.

Now, shifting gears to the Toyota Tacoma, this beast is not just a road dominator but also a tech-savvy haven. Starting with the SR (Sport Rally) model, you're greeted by a vibrant 7-inch touchscreen, while the SR5 (Sport Rally 5), TRD (Toyota Racing Development), and Limited models take it up a notch with an 8-inch touchscreen, basically turning your truck into a tech command center.

Ridgeline is the easy choice. The right truck for 95% of people who are actually honest with what they really need out of a truck.

I like the looks of the Tacoma better. But, Im sold on getting a Ridgeline. All about the comfort.

Traded in the Tacoma for the Ridgeline. Ridgeline is faster and way more smooth.

It’s more truck than most people need. I think some people have the need to show off and have big trucks. The only way I would have the bigger truck is if I had a business and could write it off . And actually needed it.

I wish the Ridgeline had better ground clearance..but The Ridgeline is honestly the better of the two...better mpg more comfortable a bed that's complete no wheel well humps..and that counts on small rear beds

Ridgeline has V6 one of the best engine, used to be powered the Accord V6 which discontinued in 2018, now all Accord are turbocharger and hybrid powertrain, shame!

CORRECTION U comparing 2023 Tocoma to 2023 Ridgeline. 2024 Tocoma dont have 6 cylinder Truck. They have Hybrids. I like Ridgeline I've been looking at since all around more comfortable and more 2nd row space. But new Taco interior is updated and looks the Best by far....

I bought a 2019 ridgeline and it never has problems. Its an amazing vehicle. If tacomas had as much cab space as a ridgeline i might of changed my mine. They are tiny and the cabs suck Ass

Tacoma for great looks and ability to hard-core, crawling off-roading.
Ridgeline for just about everything else.

Ridgeline all the way. Tacoma is old school--same truck for a decade.

All 24 Tacomas are 2.4 turbo. And the 24 ridgeline has a full center console and no armrest. Get your truck years right.

If Ridgeline went to a selectable 4x4 with better ground clearance it would take over Toyota

I like the Ridgeline as well, however have looked extensively at owners forums for people who own the Honda 3.5 V6 with all three versions of the Variable Cylinder Management System and the VCM causes lots of serious issues as mileage rises. The option is the mizzle it and I don't like the idea of that. I don't want a turbo either, however took the Ridgeline off my list because of VCM. An experienced Honda technician at my local dealer also said to stay away from VCM. Yes the current 3.0 version is less problem prone, but from what I can see it just pushed problems out beyond the warranty period. Of course not everyone has problems, but for me I am not willing to take the risk. If you change cars every few year then this is not a problem, however I like to keep mine for 15 to 28 years. Yes I could have a problem with the turbo, but in my mind that will be cheaper to fix than the issues the VCM can cause.

I can only afford a Certified Preowned on both.

I own both and love both. My Ridgeline is a better ride all around but if I’m going off road my Tacoma takes over a little better

The Honda was looking like a no brainer for me until they announced the price.
