My Dad was the Queens Royal Regiment West Surrey in WWIi. He was at Dunkirk May 29 and was rescued - many of his brothers in arms did not survive, he only spoke of this once. After that he was at El Alamein and Tobruk in North Africa. I am very proud to be his daughter.
