Slot components figma tutorial

Great tutorial, thank you, Yariv! A tip that can help: instead of working with slot variations (slot, double slot, etc), you can inside a card for example, add a space component between the slots. That's the way that I built some components in the design system, it's easy to change the spacing between items :)

I have a question how do you create a component out of these, for examples if your card layout via slot can be converted to component? Also another question how many slots are recommended (side by side or up and down?

I love your vids because they are practical and informal, but this is confusing beyond the fact that is advanced. Basically it doesn't go straight to the point. While explaining you don't follow a linear logic line, taking detours and losing the thread. It might make sense at the end but it's hard to follow you while explaining.
A good outline and sticking to it might help making the explanation clearer.
I have a question:
when is it smart to use slots? and when is it better to use other syatems? Is it a silver bullet?
