The main thing that diminishes it's value is the spacing. Since you'll be editing the instance, you cannot modify the spacings. And there is also the limitation of layouts which can be created.

Hi, thanks a lot for the tutorial. I can't seem to figure out how to retain the size of the slot components when I do the instance swap. When I do the instance swap, the size of the slot components automatically changes to fit into the size of the instances of "slot-replace me" component. The instances of "slot-replace me" component is set to hug and hug. Help would be much appreciated. 🙏

Thanks for this tutorial as it is really helpful. Just having a little issue with changing the slot size depending on the component that it is being swapped for. EG if the slot is being swapped for text it does this pretty well but say the slot is being swapped for an image which is bigger, the image is resized the slot size rather than the other way around. Any help on this?

hello ! Thanks for the tips. But I noticed a difference with my Figma interface. When I create a component property for my slot, the part "preferred values" doesn't appear… Is there parameters or something to do special do see it ?
