I think you missed Chamber and Widow, they are both French and are both snipers with a type of bomb/device that activates when you get near it, definitely very similar!

reyna’s orbs are also similar to the original version of reaper’s passive; anyone he killed would drop a red soul orb that he would pick up to heal himself.

As an overwatch player, despite gameplay not being necessarily the same, valorant still felt familiar, like home

Look, I see most of these similarities, but that Raze and Tracer one was a bit of a stretch. Raze's satchels aren't meant to be, and are only rarely used like that. They're used like Junkrat's mines, just like you showed in the first vid.

If you think about it its kinda nice that there's similarities so OW players aren't completely stranded when getting into Valorant

i don't want to be that guy but, taking an idea and not completely copying smth is fine i guess, i mean it is a mash between counter strike go and overwatch but it hasn't been done, i mean the similarities are there but it's good took 2 games and made 1 good game which is cool i guess. Just my thought. Didn't everybody took the battle pass from dota i mean they have done it first i belive since 2013 and everybody just made there version which is good is it not? i hope i made sense.

The reason I main Reyna in Valorant is because I used to main Moira in Overwatch...

All these abilities and stuff are so similar. And Sombra and Reyna are almost the same.

some valorant skills kinda following to overwatch but riot didnt absolutely ripping off the weapon really diffrent but same ammo as csgo and they make their own story and they make their own song so riot is smart but not really creative about game but very creative about story and song

I would say that Reyna is a mix between Moira and Reaper, back when used he to have souls orbs as healing and he also has the same the phase through ability.

As someone who plays both games I can say that it's so different, chambers teleport and symetras one are nothing alike, they serve completely different functions, same with tracers ult and razes explosive, also overwatch did not invent these mechanics , an explosive being thrown out is a super common ability in games, demoman, ziggs, bomb king all have explosives on their kit, when you take these abilities off context they look like copies but like I said they serve different purposes

I mean there will be similarities always even if you try to be original because of how limited you are with the abilities. You'll end up giving an agent abilities which someone already implemented in a different game because of the how common it is even if it looks unique to one game.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didnt overwatch come out in 2016 and valorant come out in 2020? I know people take ideas from other games all the time but it literally looks like reapers teleport was copy and pasted into the game with no intention of even trying to make it look different. And alot of the abilities are too similar to just be a coincidence like the massive wall and stuff such as mei's ice wall.

Also, Jett and Mercy have the same passive ability. That slow fall when you hold the jump button.
