Great content. Can you do a video outline your diy modified sauna? My infrared needs a boost.

I actual did my first sauna yesterday. I did 23 minutes at 190 degrees and I loved it. Because of daily ice plunges for over 3 years now, my body had no issues with heat, sweated like a pig. No discomfort. However, I think I went too long for a first time so I woke up with a broken blood vessel in my eye. So, have to stay out of sauna for a few days until it heals. I absolutely loved the sauna experience and hope to do it daily. I think you tried the Plunge Company’s sauna. How did you like it?

Thanks so much for your sauna knowledge sharing. Ours common connection with sauna and the same industry focus. I work in Lucksunny sauna and would appreciate adding you to my network.

I have both, the problem is this: the oven in a traditional sauna is that they are very heavy on electricity use, at least 6kw, which means you’ll have to hard wire your sauna into your fuse box, because a normal socket won’t supply that amount to juice. I move house and haven’t yet been able to hard wire. So I bought an infrared. Because at 2kw, and socket ring will give that amount without clicking the entire house off.

Both take at least 30 minutes to get to a sweating heat, and during 30 minutes I get an excellent sweat on.

Regarding you not sweating after you’ve acclimated, its odd. The thermorégulation of the body means that you should be sweating quicker and more as you become more used to it.

Hands down traditional sauna is better then infrared. I owned an infrared for 7 yrs and then built a trad one and it so much better.

Do you think you could compare the differences between a dry sauna and a steam shower with the goal of getting the same benefits?

Check out Dr. Rhonda Patrick and Huberman. Great info on why saunas are great. I use the Therasage and it gets up to 170 degrees. Sweat the whole way through it

So in your infrared sauna, it now uses the patio heater aswell as the infrared for more heat?

I think there is a place for both. Dry sauna is by far the best option for most people, but if you are an athletic person you can gain a lot of benefits from throwing in an infrared session every once in awhile.

I think that if someone was doing the Niacin Detox Protocol then it would be better & quicker to use a good low E.M.F based Infrared Sauna

could we put a sauna heater with rocks in a infrared sauna to do a hybrid sauna, infrared and dry sauna? or its dangerous to broke the electrical panel with the humidity from the water i'll put on the rocks.

I agree with you. Real sauna is better. Infrared is not sauna. Sauna involves loyly.
