Cheap Domain Names — Google Domains vs Namecheap

Learn how to buy really cheap domain names with Namecheap and Google Domains. Pay less than $1 (98 cents to be exact) for the first year on some domain names with Namecheap, but be careful because Google can actually be cheaper in some cases. Either way, all of my domain name registration is done with Google Domains and Namecheap.

I get the point of $1 now. Even at the cost of 60 or whatever (if traction and in revenue) for future years. But, if .com isn't open...I wonder if the new tld's that don't say almost free today...but ransom later...
...if some of the huge new pack charge a normal price, Now and later.

I don't know. I'm just musing.
