I'm not really as jet person, but I don't see the A-10 in the same way I see other jets - it looks almost retro in its design and that gun, oh boy! I still haven't put that HobbyBoss one away yet, so every time I go into the cave, there it is, staring at me, begging to be built - as is the little 1/144 Revell one that I now have the resin 'pit and wheels for. Maybe this weekend.... ;)

Thanks for your PM..I will reply to it properly when I have taken in all the facts! I have a photo of a Westland Apache Longbow helicopter with the full load of missiles, rockets & gun ammunition laid out in front of it.. all blue! So now at least I know what type of ordnance it was they displayed that day. :) Just wanted to hang 'a few bits' under my two-seater A-10, but as it never saw action, I thought inert missiles to be the slightly more realistic option.. if it ever carried any at all! :)

Great vid Luis, I've had issues with the flory models wash in the past. Fully agree with the full load out, she is loaded for bear. Throughly enjoyed theis build series. Lovely finished project.

Great job on your A-10, I love the old European 1 paint and the shark mouth decals. I use Goo Gone and a Q-tip to remove sticky tape residue from my canopies. Also always clear coat for clear parts with Future floor wax before masking off with tape. Cheers.

Yes very true, but I have not yet found one with the drop tank as or if it has one it is always missing something, I don't know, maybe too much weight? but then again, F-16's are always carrying them when they are fully loaded. Thanks for the comment!

Luis you have a superb model there. I built an A-10 as a kid, and they make cracking models. Re: not seeing them fully loaded in real life, not true. Google image search "fully loaded A10" and one of the first results is a pic of an A-10 with every hardpoint filled, if you want some reference.
