I'm glad you went for the three tone cammo. It's looking REALLY good, it will be a real model to be proud of. I have never airbrushed but I went out and got me a cheap one and some vallejo model air coulours a month or so ago, glad you like the paints hopefully I'll get up the courage to use it soon.

Finally got to see the complete video, as I got my computer back yesterday! It was the graphics card that had blown, but now it's up and running again.. That is one awesome looking 'hog so far, you are trying out some interesting techniques as well, most of which I can't do as a brushpainter! But I always enjoy seeing the YouTube master airbrushers in action.. and you're one of them or sure! This will be a beauty when done and loaded up.. :) :) Love that camo, it is excellent..

That beast is looking mighty good and that's putting it mildly and that is some fantastic paintwork. Have to say, I can't wait to see what the smoke will look like along the panel lines. I'm starting to favour post-shading in that respect as well although I have an pre-shading idea I want to try for the faded panel effect next time. That's what's great about this hobby - learning and trying new techniques!

Hey Luis! Man, the build is looking great! The warthog is one of my favorite aircraft too. I think your camo came out really, really good man. I am interested to see how your wash goes. One technique I have used in the past is to wet the surface of the model just a bit with a mist of water, and then let the wash "bleed" into panel lines. I have not used an airbrush to wash, so will be looking forward to see your results.

nice man! gunna buy all my supplies this coming friday. Found a little hobby shop that has badger airbrushes, they also have model kits there. There's nothing like that around here.. but great work!

I make my own washes, just by thinning out some Tamiya paint (x-19), just remember to protect your work by applying a clear coat first to seal in the paint work you've done! hope this helps! I would also recommend Flory Models washes, they are great!

Thanks bro, The technique I was referring to is actually not a wash but more of a way to "stain" the big panel lines, I actually will film that part so you can see what I'm talking about, but the idea of wetting the surface is not a bad one at actually makes sense! thanks and take care!
