I think Ratta owes you some money, Kit. I bought my A5X and will buy an A5X2 because of this channel. Glad to see the Supernote is still considered in the top few options despite all the competition out there now.

I watched a few of vids and decided on the Supernote. I was waiting for the new A5 X2 but their update stated may or June release. I couldn’t wait. The nomad is too small for my liking. Was gonna get the RM2 for the 100 day trial window while waiting on the A5X2. But ultimately decided on a used A5X from marketplace and couldn’t be happier. Thank goodness for BestBuy carrying the scribe and RM2 so I can try them out. Penmanship matters to me and mine was ugly on the Scribe 😂 it was okay on the RM2. Your videos helped me decide on the Supernote. The Boox was up there so maybe in the future when they all have the improvement like the Ultra. Thank you!!

Totally agree. I have the Scribe and it's really very cool, but I have the e-ink itch and I'm torn between the RM2 or something from Supernote next. The boox is fantastic I'm sure, but for me the whole idea of an e-ink tablet kind of defeats the point of a minimalist device; but that's just true of my use case. I'm sure they're brilliant devices.

I would never buy a Boox tablet solely because of all the quality control and customer service horror stories I've read. I love my reMarkable, and I'm very curious to try the Supernote. I returned the Kindle Scribe and went back to my Kindle Oasis for reading, because the software was so half-baked as a note-taking device. Which is a shame, because I really did enjoy the writing experience with it. Hopefully Amazon can listen to feedback and continue to improve the software.

I'm really pleased with my Scribe and love using it as a notepad replacement, I also love reading PDFs and marking them up with the pen. I do have slight tech envy for some of the features so keep wondering about up-shifting to a device with more features. I'm mostly worried about the lack of cloud access to notebooks on the Scribe.I just hope that Amazon are serious about supporting and developing it more! Perhaps even moving towards an e-ink Fire Tablet version?

If Supernote had backlighting I think it be my one and done. I really enjoy scribe. If they’d just add true custom templates and allow the use of different templates on every page within the same note, I’d be perfectly content with that. Boox is cool for sure but the battery life kills it for me. I thought I’d like having more or less an ink iPad but for whatever reason just not digging it. Scribe / Supernote have less distractions (for me I found I need the more focused device with less distractions)

Hi Kit. I've got myself a Boox Note Air3C and I'm looking mostly to read and annotate scientific papers. On the Remarkable you can swipe off to one side and gain some extra margin to write in, I can't seem to do this on the Boox. Do you know of any way to to do this without modifying the pdfs to add extra margin space before you upload them to the tablet?

Will super note work as there is no backlit and you are in a conference room with lights shut off for presentations and you need to take notes and no handouts are given. Or in a meeting with dimmed lights ?
