You don’t know me, but I want you to know that the first time I listened to this song, I was in the park painting and relaxing on my day off. I personally listen to the melody not the lyrics in every songs honestly!
But this song was like… took my soul and my breath away in every melody, every words. I fell in love with this song from the very first listen, the lyrics and vocals, thinking about love long past for me... and then he mentioned Super Mario Land's Overworld theme... and it all connected, because that is one of my favourite tunes ever! (I'm a huge Nintendo fan, and it's a very nostalgic song for me) And now the song has ANOTHER layer to add to how much I love it. ♥
