Unfortunately wife will use hurting herself to try and get sympathy from hubby. It's a power play. Self harm is sad but don't fall back into a relationship with her because of it.

Any communication should go through a lawyer. DO NOT TALK TO HER. She is going to guilt you into calling off the divorce. You can co-parent without speaking to her. Block her contact info and let the lawyer act as gatekeeper. The suicide attempt was for attention and to change the narrative. She wants to be the victim, not the dirty cheater that she is.

So first she not only cheats on him, but breaks apart the family and their kids stability. And then selfishly decides to commit suicide, which would traumatize the kids even more? Rarely would I call someone who's suicidal a selfish person, but all of this was purely for her own self interest and not once did she consider the kids or her (ex) husband in this. Disgusting.

Also, I'd push for supervised visitation for the wife right now, at least until she's at a mentally healthy place. I hate to be this dark, but what if she has them for the weekend and makes another attempt on herself? I hope she gets the help she needs so she can be healthy again for the sake of the kids.

I’d use the suicide attempt to keep the kids the majority of time. She’s not in a healthy place. Plus she’d use that against him if the shoes were switched.

LOL. OP can get full custody. I wish OP nudges his stbxw to the edge. Also the bish is a drama queen. If she intended to go the easy way out she would have taken the express vertical way. She wants to be the victim. OP should take this knowledge and present the facts in court.
