I suspect that when OP left to live with their father, her sister lost her "golden child" status since narcissist mom has to narcissist.

Story 2: Your honour, they are soulmates and they will live happily ever after.

I remember watching Cinema Therapy with the two guys talking about the Prince of Egypt with Moses and Ramses relationship as adoptive brothers. The therapist reveals just because you love someone doesn't mean you have to keep that person in your life especially if your relationship with them is not healthy and not going anywhere. I think this goes well with OP and her sister in story 1.

Story 2: Reminds me of phrase, "i'll not fight your battles, but always protect you". Sometimes you really dont need to be all obverprotective and overbearing and just let your partner do their thing.

When he said the guy pushed through the double doors “could be in another dimension for all I know” I got so tickled and laughed for 5 minutes straight 🤣

I am still hung up on the sister bombarded OP with horrible text messages on OP's wedding night and apparently still feels no guilt or regret for that and in fact thinks OP has somehow harmed her (by....existing, I guess). What a toxic mess.

You can't win with these types, how dare you better yourself when you aren't miserable like me. *After all, misery loves company especially those who cannot escape and it despises those who do.*

Story 2 - It’s nice to hear a cute sweet story every once in awhile. Love it!

The second story reminds me of when my wife was pregnant and jumped out to yell at a dude who cut us off, then got out to tell me shit. It happens and is funny to see a person tuck tail from a pregnant woman.

So y'all know toxic masculinity? OP in story 2 is the exact opposite of that. What an absolute gem of a couple, such a sweet story

Story2: It's so good to see a wholesome story like this.
Soulmates, those two!❤

Story 1,
If your sister is/was this toxic, you would be better off NOT have to answer the call/call back. You do NOT have to put up with such nonsense. Furthermore, YOU get to decide who is/isn't in your life.

Last story: This one reminded me of a post long ago that featured a picture of this beautiful husky and the owner had written above and below the pic: "Have you seen this dog? He's not lost or anything, he's just AWESOME and I wanted to show him off!"

I like hearing feel-good posts like that and hope we get more of them in the future.

Story 2: My wife and I recently celebrated our 35th anniversary, and I can never get enough of these feel good love stories. Absolutely love them. Congratulations OP and Jen, looks like you both won the love lotto. Love and regards from wintry Michigan.

Story 1: this truly is what is best for op and her sister.
Story 2: sometimes, a verbal lashing is more effective than a physical one

Story 2: Holy shit, she isn't a ninja, she's a level 20 Bard. And you're in OP. ❤

That last story was wonderful and a proper heart-warmer. Huge congratulations to OP and his missus-to-be and all the love in the world to them. 😊

You should do a separate channel where you tell your personal stories and and anecdotes. Your accent is reason enough to listen 😂
16:00 the way you set the scene is golden. Proper British geezer

I'm a firm believer of loving some ppl at a distance. My sister is toxic ASF and we used to be so close but when I got clean and got my life together I had to go no contact with my sister and I've not spoke with her in almost 2 years bc of some of the toxic things she has done. And even when or if she gets herself back together I don't think she's someone I can be around. Some ppl you just have to love from a far

Story 2 - OP has found his inner strength by realising he doesn't need to defend his GF-turned-fiancée. That is emotional strength, confidence, and trust. OP may not be up for a fight with the state of his knee, but his inner strength is right there, proving he is the sigma standing back while his Queen GF is tearing down the group of incel betas trying to Nice Guy her.
