Hilarious to see Olli's face every time the chain appears to be oiled.

Oiled Chains Suffered on stage 9 gravel, by the end of it chains were filled with an oil sand paste where the dust stuck to the chain/oil basically like a cutting paste.

Instead of disappointment about non-waxed chains, perhaps Ollie should talk to one of the mechanic about why they are using oil lube. My guess, since each bike is power washed after every stage, they don't have time to hot wax 24 chains every night (3 bikes x 8 riders). And probably don't have time to prep 504 chains before the tour (8 riders x 21 stages x 3 bikes).

Continental has done a similar blacked out logo on their gatorskins "black" edition. Probably used the same tech to do it on this.
I like to be able to read the logo and lettering. Some conti tires are quite hard to read.

Yes, I would pay extra for tires with no logos, or perhaps black logo on black tire. The fewer visible logos the better.
