My son is a HUGE GOT fan including the new series. I showed him the table build on YT yesterday and he watched the whole thing with me (he is 25 with minimal special needs). I love him to death but we don’t have much in common. This was a fantastic half hour with my son. Maybe, just maybe, this helps bring us a little closer. Thanks John.

As an Irishman and G.O.T fan this makes me so happy. For those who do not know it, Westeros is actually an upside-down expanded map of Ireland. J.R.R Martin specifically asked the map maker to include Ireland in it,

I’m a 20 year Corian fabricator, I made a desk with LG solid surface material and put epoxy in between 2 pieces….. the thing I found was you have to scuff the edges so the epoxy bonds to the Corian, or it just breaks off clean…. But it was only a half inch pour since the material is the same depth…..
