Australian Catholic University should ‘hang its head in shame’

The Australian’s Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan says the Australian Catholic University should “hang its head in shame”.

A former Labor powerbroker sparked a walkout at an ACU graduation ceremony with a keynote speech decrying abortion and gay marriage.

Mr Sheridan told Sky News host Peta Credlin that the university’s leaders “should retreat”.

The Catholic Church cannot change it's teachings as they are not hers to change. If people disagree they are simply not Catholic including some religious.

I went to a Catholic University in the US over 20 years ago. I don't remember taking a Theology course but we did have a required Ethics course that was taught from the Catholic Ethics point of view. I wonder if Catholic Universities are even requiring that anymore?

Changing Catholic teachings proves that it's all man-made and wanting to "have their cake and eat it too", rather than accepting the true word of the gospel and God. Pandering to the wishes of activists only promotes sin and makes a total mockery of Christian beliefs and faith, so shame on the ACU!!
