I used to think fires weren't really such a big deal. That people who set them should be punished of course, but that its not the worst crime.

That is, until my whole apartment burned down and I lost everything I owned. It's quite a devastating experience. My heart goes out to people anywhere in the world dealing with the aftermath of fires. Regardless of how they started, it's a terrible thing to go through. ):
