This cavalier attitude towards the perpetrators life is disgusting. I want this perpetrator to go through our criminal justice system just as much as the next guy. What he allegedly did was wrong. However, it's a human life. I may expect such callus disregard for human life from the suspect, but I absolutely don't expect it from officers that are supposed to uphold the law.
