To all those people who are critiquing the barber for one reason or another, what are you doing to help your fellow man? Sitting in front of your screen, telling people what they should/shouldn’t do, guzzling down some booze, not paying attention to your family and just being an online pest. This man is kindly giving his time & talent to making this man look good and feel good about himself, he’s gone a long time not caring about his appearance and just surviving day to day. To all those saying why not shampoo first?...if the hair is matted & you shampoo, it makes the mats tighter & very difficult to get out. Cutting them before washing saves a whole lotta grief & pulling later...

I appreciate that you gave a homeless man a free haircut. I can understand that it was difficult and that he probably smelled horrid, but, couldn’t you show more compassion?? Those scissors sound like they’re out of a kitchen drawer, and that’s not a barbers comb. You were yanking and pulling on this man like you didn’t care that you were causing him discomfort or pain. He’s still a human being. A shampoo and a “nice” shave might have given him a little dignity!

All the people offering criticism probably wouldn’t have touched him in the first place. He deserves credit for taking on the job.

As far as showering, clean clothes and scrubbing those facilities aren’t in a barber shop. Probably a homeless shelter.

We have know idea what’s happening in his head. It might have taken weeks for someone to talk him into setting foot in the barber shop.

You have to do as much as you can given the conditions you’re faced with.
