Franco do not take take this the wrong way i lover your informative skills and mindset just on thing is happening i can smell that brown tongue all the way from stepper online china to Australia right back to the US of A shit if S.O hasnt given you freebies yet id be dumbfounded on how it isnt possible S.O couldnt get a more glowing customer review if they paid for it LOL keep up the good work

Is it possible to connect CL57Y with Nema 23 closed loop with 8wires to encoder? i can see you have 6wires from stepping motor to encoder how should i solve this ?please explain! thank you

Would you recommend setting the stepper driver frequency to match the frequency of the cnc controller, or visa versa?

this drivers are not "capable of 40'000ppr". here is the thing: the reason why you choose closed loop system is the closed loop (obviously) with position feedback from encoder. and encoder on this motor is 1000-line quadrature type what means that it have 4'000 "steps" per rev. so - 4'000 is the max. any larger pulse per rev count are not supported with proper feedback and the resolution of the system is always capped at 4'000ppr.
