after I read the backstory of LoLK ... I'm starting to feel sorry for her ....
Hmm ... maybe I'll make Junko VS Chang'e Dawn of Justice script ??

I know she's got tragic motivations/backstory from losing her family and shit but I like her less because of that and more because she's basically literally rage. And I appreciate that her theme pretty much depicts that. No Cosmic Mind/Border of Life/Reach for the Moon kind of solemnity or quieter part, just literally "I'M GONNA FUCK UP THE MOON BITCH AND WHILE I'M AT IT I'LL FUCK YOU UP TOO"

also interestingly! Furies are a type of vengeful goddesses in Greek mythology. Junko may be roughly inspired by or based on/be one of the Furies, which would explain her friendship with Hecatia as in some accounts Hecate was a Fury herself, and in nearly all accounts both Furies and Hecate are "chthonic"/"subterranean" (roughly referring to Hell) goddesses.

I just think it's interesting to see ZUN going back to Western mythology (Remilia would be considered part of Western mythology) in a way.

What a beautiful theme for a beautiful character with a beautiful fight ( for the most part, I love "Lilies of Murderous Intent" ).

I do feel sad for her though, her story might be my second favorite after Byakuren's and Shiki's final boss wise.

This theme sounds majestic and unforgiving. Just fitting Junko's appearance and ability as well as her boss fight.

Wow, the series sure has grown.
-Seems to lag less
-More unique concepts (flipping screen, FIST bullets, etc.)
-More instruments in themes
-More colorful and detailed characters (albeit less distinguishable from other games)
-Not being able to use Homing Amulets while shifting because then their Persuasion Needles which aren't homing and

But seriously, Touhou's evolution has sure had its ups and downs.
