Love this video...Thanks! I am a writer (one of my many hats) and words mean alot. I re-framed budget to Wealth plan, because budget felt like I didn't have wiggle room...to budge ! Thanks for all you ladies do...

love that you made this video!! I had been advised to do budget spending and I tried it for a few months and it just made me feel really miserable and I found myself never letting myself spend on things I love, or even food (it was bad). I then found out about value-based spending like you mentioned and when I ask myself 'how much do I WANT to spend and what on?" it felt so much better and I was actually able to meet those goals for the months I would plan that want/value spend. I am also much more happier and have more money than I did when I was trying to stick to a budget.

This is very helpful. Budgeting is difficult, but needed. Values based spending is much more realistic for me. Thank you for this!

I have been so upside down with money that I didn't have any extra money. I very seldom bought/buy anything that is not a need. Once I can get my debt paid down, I will be able to spend on "my core values" (Actually, I have always found ways to give to animal charities, tithes, and occasionally personal care items). Other than that, nothing.

I'm 63 y/o. I've been a poor saver over all my adult life. I started DA in 2014 continued until 2019, and have improved greatly, but still not where I want to be so close to retirement. Help please! ❤

Budgeting was hard to keep consistent . It was after the spend and it would make me feel guilty .

I get frustrated with figuring out how to allocate for annual or 6 month expenses. It gets over complicated and I give up because I can’t figure out how to do it. I think perfectionism is the problem, in part.
