Wtf! My first “job” was organizing the rolidex of an entertainment lawyer at Nickelodean. I was 12ish. Production saw me and asked me to audition for a commercial. The line was, “My parents told me kids should be seen and not heard.” I didn’t get the job but I never forgot that office. I can’t wait to watch this.

“I thought to myself, ‘Don’t be a complainer…’” That’s the sad reality of a lot of people. They don’t speak up for themselves because they feel they’ll be told, “You’re just a complainer! You’re just pushy! You’re bossy! You’re a whiner! You’re stuck on yourself!” etc. What’s sad too is how many people are quick to believe the bad stuff they hear about a person instead of trying to learn what’s really happening. How many people have believed the claims that one person or another was some stuck-up diva without question and then it turned out there was something serious going on? I know I’ve heard of numerous times an athlete was called lazy, sissy, etc. for having a dip in performance and then it turned out they were injured the whole time.
