Brilliant Steve, had all sorts of problems cutting on the table saw, currently using a bandsaw and jig on my thicknesser to finish off. Will be making one of these very soon.

It will be interesting to see what could be produced using a compound cut.

Thanks Steve for showing us. I am no good at making Jigs so therefore I have not been able to make any of your designs, although I have purchased most of the patterns. *sigh*

Hello Steve. Lovely work. Just started watching your videos. Thought I could share a tip I saw on crimson guitars YouTube channel. The video is called the greatest luthiers trick of all. Useful for holding wood in place, sandpaper to wood etc. I saw you use a glue gun in other videos but this is a good one for lots of applications. Maybe you already know but thought I’d share.
Cheers.

Have you considered making groves on the raised panel of the vacuum part? On a CNC bed they have a honeycomb pattern for effective vacuum hold down. Just a idea. I like your design.

Has anyone tried or recommend using a 12" dual bevel sliding miter saw instead of a table? Would you still use the jig or not since miter excels at angle cuts?
