Scott recently came out with Kevin Fox of Fox Fishing 4K and had an amazing time smashing giant King Salmon and Giant Lake Trout on Georgian Bay. He had such a great time he wanted his younger brother Mike to experience it. Kevin offered the guys a morning trip despite calling for heavy downpours. Kevin explained that before a storm the fishing can be really good and he suggested they give it a try. Kevin stated "Wind is lightning are my only concerns" and explained that rain has never flipped a boat over before. Scott laughed and stated "We are IN!"
This video shows the day Scott, Mike and Kevin hooking into 21 fish including Chinook Salmon (King), Lake Trout, and Herring.
Check out the video here of some of the best fishing Georgian Bay has to offer.

Awesome dipsy tip! Always hated trying to walk back and run outta room landing one. Just clipping it on is a great idea!

Sweet video and thanks for the idea for the removable Dipsey. I took your idea and changed it up just slightly. I added 40 feet of 25 lb test green mono as my leader and then tied it to my braid with a double-uni knot. On the braid side, I tied a loop knot with a small bead in the loop about a foot above the mono (the bead just holds the loop open). On the forward side of the dipsey, I attach a small S-clip carabiner, which goes in the loop knot. It can't slip, so it makes releasing the Dipsey easy, and no wraps needed when attaching it. I use the same red OR-16 clip on the back side of the Dipsey, but I attach it to the braid and slide it down to the doube-uni so it can't slide any further. It works great! Super easy on and off. No wraps needed, etc. Caught walleyes, kings, steelies, etc with no issues yet.

I use a snubber with a dipsey to have some give, have you tried mono and fluorocarbon as a leader?

Awesome video my man. Really like the snaps method. Will have to try it this weekend. How does it work on copper lines. Have you tried it or will it unclip being its not wrapped ?

Hey, great show you guys have . You got a new subscriber . I like your dipsy set up, I have some questions. Are you running braid on your dipsy rods, and if so, do you have problems with the sea fleas? Thanks love your show

Great video, solid boat. I began rigger fishing not that long ago. I often see fish come and follow the weights but would not take a spoon or a fly. My most productive spoon so far is NBK, I troll at 2-3mph with spin doctor or a SS dodger. Would appreciate if you share what can be done to entice fish to bite on a day like that? Thank you.

I’ve deployed dipseys like that for over 5 years; it really increases catch rates with King Salmon. We let the bait back at least 50 ft before attaching the diver. One difference, we deploy a 10” snubber on the trailing end of the dipsey.

Do you find that this changes the diving ratio at all on your divers? I've been running this for a year now and just noticed that my line out is close to a 1:1 ratio on my high divers on a 2.5 setting. I'm basing that off of seeing them go down on my graph. Kinda puzzling
