Reacher silencer mistake

I hate egregious Hollywood firearms mistakes. I own several suppressors (call them 'silencers' if you want) and I can tell you they most certainly do NOT make a gun less accurate.

All I can think is, if it’s referencing a gun without raised sights, but that would be an illogical setup for someone who’s familiar with guns obviously.
