Welcome along to another DIY E39 M5 How-To guide!

Today we are changing our engine mounts (Motor Mounts to you USA viewers!)

The track car needs stronger and more durable mounts, so we have fitted a set of billet aluminium / urethane mounts in place of the standard OEM Lemforder items.

We are looking at the feasibility of designing our own engine mounts and manufacturing them in the future - Watch this space!

Changing the mounts shouldn't take more than an hour and can be easily done at home with basic tools and axle stands + a good quality trolley jack.

This is such great timing! I have a new pair of mounts for my beast in the garage....been meaning to put them in for a few weeks now. This will get me off my ass and get them installed. Thanks for all the great E39 M5 content and DIY's!
