Welcome along to another BMW E39 M5 DIY How-To guide!

Today we are changing the camcover gaskets on the engine.

This isn't a difficult job to do, but more fiddly and annoying.

It shouldn't take you more than 3 or 4 hours, but be prepared to have to perform some engine surgery if you find broken timing chain guides when you lift the lids!

Do you ever have change the Hoses from the Oil Separator? i mean that hoses on the bottom of the separator, that returns oil.
