OMG I’ve been saying this for years and it seems like I was alone in this thinking. Most people who have leaky gut and digestive issues need to heal their gut and and they are on a restrictive FODMAP diets but they don’t understand that they should be working away from being on a low FODMAP diet and look to nurture and aim to have a healthy diverse micro biome.

I have celiac disease and I was glutened by a gf company in a gf facility. I had another biopsy because my symptoms were bad. I’m still not great. I have bad teeth because of gluten. Lately, I developed recently a few food allergies ( eggs and walnuts) I had other allergies as a child ( tomatoes and grasses). I found out that my late onset egg allergy and delayed egg allergy is related to gut microbiota. I’m in bad shape. Not one doc has talked to me about the health of my gut. I want to repair it. I also lost my smell and taste 9 years ago, food taste is distorted and I won’t eat a lot of different foods because they taste nasty. I am less than 100lbs, underweight for my height. I did some homework. I need to know if this is correct : no processed foods, more fruits and veg than meats. I can’t eat nuts because of cross contamination. A lot of grains contain gluten. I can eat rice and quinoa and potatoes, but not oats ( gluten contamination).
I am itchy a lot. Where I get itchy, and I rub, not scratch, I developed raised bumps similar to hives, but they’re not hives. The itch itself feels like hives. I feel like my immune system is done. I need help.
