I Somehow Got the Hoka Mach 5 to 300 Miles | My Long-Term Review

The Hoka Mach 5 is not a shoe known for its durability, and I am not a runner known for my graceful, light-footed form. Against all odds, I got this shoe to 300 miles, and it's still kicking. Here's how it's performed for me through 300 and how the upper, midsole and outsole are holding up.

Interesting review. I might consider this one once they go on clearance.

I was able to put only 285 miles on my Mach 5. It just became kind of flat, even though the outsole was still fine.

450 miles on my Hoka Mach 4. Midsole is still largely holding up and outsole is worn, but still present!

A Tobias Fünke reference is always a nice touch 👌🤣

I only have 75 miles so far in my pasture of Mach 5's and my outsole is looking okay but the Profly+ foam is starting to see a lot of creasing. I'm assuming it's due to my 5'8" 195 lb heel striking frame lol

After finding the MK4 just too hard for me, I think I might just be too heavy for hoka Macks, Clifton 8 ok but not the best distance shoe either .

I weigh about 215 to 220 and I feel after 66 miles. The Middel has kind of gone flat, especially the for foot. I feel very little bounce and very little cushion I am mid to toe striker not sure if it’s just my pair of shoes or what but disappointed
