I feel like Hoka has taken steps forward with running shoes like the Mach 4 and the Carbon X 2, but the Clifton line just does not want to evolve or transform... lol. I agree with you. Would love to see some more innovation with the Cliftons. I rock the Clifton 6’s right now and the Mach 4’s, and after watching this video I think I’m just gonna buy another pair of Mach 4’s instead of the Clifton 8’s.

I used Cliftons since 4 and recently decided to stick with Mach 4. Clifton 7 will be my last Clifton buy. My decision was mainly due to forefoot is getting more narrow

I like the 8 more than the 7 in the fit of the toe box.It’s got to the point where hoka needs to stop making the Clifton or do a total redesign from the ground up

I hope they leave all this "innovation" for other models. I'm tired of all the boosts and react foams where your heel gets buried after two weeks and it messes with your achilles. Clifton is the only shoe for me where that doesn't happen.
