See? This is why I like academic videos, there’s no hate comments. Just people happy they learned something unlike literally every other type of video on YouTube. 🤦🏽‍♂️

I have recently gone back to school to pursue a nursing degree - at 45yrs old! Biology is not easy for me but I am so grateful to have found your videos. Your explanations and illustrations are so clear and concise, it helps me so much. Thank you!!! You are amazing!

If I pass my Bio exam, it will be all because of your videos. Seriously, I cannot thank you enough. A hundred times more understandable than my notes.

I like how a video under 15 mins makes more sense than a 1h lecture

thank youuu! i love your videos especially how everything's drawn as you explain. Being a visual learner this helps x10 more than my prof's typed notes that only give me headache trying to figure out what he is explaining about physiology in words.

point of correction from the last sentence of the video... Oxygen gas saturation level can never be 100 since 2% of the oxygen is dissolve in the plasma. so the highest a human can get even with PO2 of 104mmhg ( right after gas exchange) is 98%... However the portable pulse ox probe can go upto 100% because its 2% higher than the arterial O2 Sat. thanks

Thank you for explaining the connection between this pathophysiology and acid-base buffering/pH. Most sources I’ve found oversimplify the process to state that too much C02 causes acidosis, when in reality, I have deduced that although C02 is a weak “Lewis Acid, ” it is the conversion to bicarbonate and subsequent H ions that is the actual mechanism of acidosis/reduced pH. If I am incorrect, someone feel free to clarify.

I have the lung disease and wanting to learn more about it. You have a great gift. I believe God has a hand in that. I pray there are more doctors like you. In the USA we are closing hospitals. Has a lot to do with COVID shut downs. That was a horrid thing done to us. Never again. So many nurses had to leave because they wouldn’t take the shot.
