How to Practice Verb Conjugations

I failed Spanish the first time through. I was lost from Day 1. Even though I took it over and passed, it wasn't until I discovered The Flashcard Strategy and then The Conjugation Strategy several years later, that I began to actually be able to speak a little.

Today, I share with you THE CONJUGATION STRATEGY.

-s ending of suffixe for "you" in any tense (TrabajaS, TrabajabaS, ComiaS, ComeráS, TrabajáraS, etc).
- It doesn't exist ending of pronoun to "he", "she" and "it". Only it is seen the tense ending.
-mos ending for "we" in any tense (TrabajaMOS, ComeMOS, TrabajabaMOS, TrabajaríaMOS, TrabajáseMOS, etc).
-is ending for "you all, y'all" in any tense (TrabajáIS, ComeIS, TrabajabaIS, etc)

-é ending for "I" in simple past to infinitives in -ar(Trabajé, Limpié, Jacté).
-í ending for "I" in simple past to infinitives in -er and -ir (Comí, Salí, valí).
-aré/-eré/-iré It depends of the infinitive form, ending for simple future of "I" ( Trabajaré, Comeré, Investigaré, Limpiaré, etc)

I am giving this a thumbs up! Lot's of people bash learning grammar, but come on, it has to be done and this is a good, old school way of doing it. One of many ways.

Friendly tip:
1. Print this chart on a sheet of paper.
2. Laminate the paper.
3. Use an erasable marker.
4. Erase when done with exercise or to start over.

This video assisted me through my High School Spanish Course, I no longer struggle as much as I did before watching this. A Big Thank You! I am using Gringo Spanish to review for my Spanish 2 finals as well, which is coming very soon.

I am trying to learn Spanish from you.
I find myself also trying to learn your English.
You get my brain running in both languages.
And that’s a compliment. : )
