This is the best explanation I've seen for Italian verbs. They get so confusing and I never knew where/how to start learning them. Thank you for breaking them down to basics and for supplying lists/examples I can start with! 😀

Grazie mille per questo. It surprises me how many Italian language teachers on Youtube omit basics like ' What is a mode ? ', ' What is a tense ? ' or ' What are Parts of Speech ', usually dismissing them as ' dry ' or ' boring ' grammar. I promise you it's often difficult to simply find out what they are in English. I had no idea verbs, nouns etc were grouped together as ' Parts of Speech '. It's also interesting to see how many teachers repeat so often phrases like ' Don't worry ', ' It seems scary ' or ' You don't need to know that '. I bow to your experience but I reckon there are thousands like myself who don't have any fear but we severely lack the structure of how various languages are put together and appreciate when people like yourself explain so called ' Simple grammar concepts ' to those of us for whom they are anything but. Cheers.

I am a native Spanish speaker, I'm learning Italian, it's a beautiful language with so many similarities to Spanish, verbs in their infinitive form also have three possible endings which are basically the same but without the e. For I, we say yo, for You we say tu, for He/She we say el/ella... the point is they're very similar.

EXCELLENT! First teacher I 've seen refer to irregular verbs as being stem changing within a FAMILY! This just organized my brain!! Major insight for me! Thanks! I will now create a graphic/chart of these relationships!

Awesome video! I've tried to learn italian numerous times and always lose motivation because I was so confused how words change when in a sentence. Once I get my head around this i'm confident when I start learning nouns and putting them in sentences I will continue and finally be able to master the language.
