Fun fact: Vel'Koz does not discriminate against his own kind. In his lore, he vaporized his comrades when they tried to interfere with his examination of Zilean's tower. He's a smart, deadly, and determined SOB.

Wow, after hearing his lines (specifically the ones about his observations) Vel'Koz is absolutely adorable. I can just picture him with a clipboard and researching on humans, and as they get mauled and killed by his "experiments", he just jots it down on his clipboard, reacting to them dying like a scientist who just broke a beaker. *vaporizes a human* "Oh, fooey, I broke another one"

Like he takes one of their arms and messes with it, bending at the elbow the wrong way and breaking his arm "Hmm, bones are surprisingly inflexible"

Or he slices one in half with his eye laser and just turns to his clipboard.
