When they hug and kiss after running back to each other, seeing how they move their hands, how Leo scolds her in his frustration over her leaving the last boat and the relief of being reunited after believing they'd never see each other again, how they hug over and over again like they can't get enough of each other, utter longing and desperation... This is magnificent!

this is my favourite scene from the movie. it's pure longing and wanting. it's when you're scared so scared that you'd rather die together than live alone. i like to believe loving someone is like that, when even living doesn't make sense without them.

I always thought she changed her mind because she saw the deep sadness in his eyes. She just got in the boat because she thought Jack can take a later boat. When he found out that Call lied he said goodbye to her with his eyes. That’s why she jumped.

When Leo is looking down at her he is saying with his eyes this is the last time I’m going to see you. I have never seen acting this good. I do not know how he did this. This single scene should have got him the best actor. It’s unmatched in any movie before and any movie since. Unbelievable.
