Wow! At 46 yo, I was clinically diagnosed for textbook ADHD and Dyslexia. I remember all the uncomfortable situations of school… However I fell into a male dominated industry where I learned hands on and excelled! We dyslexics need to find our own way, we are all different… I can definitely think outside the box where others cannot. Often I am the go to person in the company.

School wouldn’t do this without proper iep despite private evaluation and one with the school that was too old. School system totally failed my son broke his heart. Broke my heart. I am homeschooling him using OG method for now. I’m so pissed at the Florida public school system!!

I am severely dyslexic and a MPA student and researcher. My goal is to also work in Legislation to promote advocacy. Everyone deserves equal opportunity to education and health.

im extremely dyslexic and have always struggled, with some people I deal with. I sometime's have to tell them that the gap between our intelligent's is to big for us to understand each other 95 percent, of the time they don't realize im insulting them. The gift's that I have from being dyslexic in certain situation are so massive, a non dyslexic could never understand.

7 years ago. And for the last 3 years it is are you a boy or a girl or 1/2 . So many kids want to die. I am dyslexic. Growing up it was 365 days a year, Year after year. Abusive parent screaming at me How stupid dumb I was. I failed 1st grade, and was told my fault we had to move because I failed. I remember I wanted to see God. and attempted to jump off the Bluemoud Road bridge still being built. By luck a worker came back to get his tools and caught me dangling from a bolt. I was smart enough to run the other direction from home. Otherwise everyone would have know. School and then home all those years. FOOD poor diet. Fed Gerber Baby food still at age 6. Nutrition I think has some impact with more than ever
