Absolutely love this. Thank you!! When I work with clients who experience dyslexia, I use our Davis definition saying it is 'perceptual talent with learning difference'. A 7-yr old I worked with begged his mum, 'Can Claire teach me because she teaches me the way I learn!'

I'm 'dyslexic' so it is easy for me to do that. But surely if schools open up to how we think and learn then with a few tweaks and bit of shifting of perspective, the suffering would reduce and self-esteem soar supporting the strengths and gifts of dyslexia.
