I also think they did a great job of explaining that this is not a hard and fast science, but color theory, and how each color family relates to the other.

Wow hearing them explain the undertone vs overtone was a light bulb moment for me! I've been so confused about whether I am warm or cool, but I think I have a cool undertone with a yellow overtone. Crazy!

As someone who is tan, with dark brown hair and brown eyes, online tests always said I was warm autumn/dark autumn. However when I learned about color analysis I found I’m actually warm spring and it makes SO much sense! I was always classified as a summer with online analysis, but I never felt like I looked my best in those colors.
I did the color analysis in the USA with House of Colour and I am a Spring. I truly believe you have to do it in person. It is worth the money spent to know for sure.
This video proves it. When you are in your colors, you look so much better!!

I love how invested the 2 ladies are in the effective difference between the warms & cools on her. I particularly love their physical reactions @11:52 ..like a huge loads been lifted off of each of them at the exact same time. 🥰So cute! I actually remember my mom & her friends all getting their Color’s done, sometime around the late 80’s, early 90’s & making a huge deal of it. I’ve also often wondered why it stopped being a ‘thing’ since I’d liked to have had my own Color’s done a few years later. My Mom wouldn’t fork out the cash for me to do it as a teenager, lol. I’m guessing it’s a heck of a lot more expensive to do these days. Great video!

Omg i could watch this all day. My best friend is a professional color analysis they do a similar process - it’s so fascinating how the subtleties of color suit different tones! I’ve been told I’m a spring, which was very surprising because I’m so pale, I didn’t think I could be “warm” toned. but I want to see the magic happen right in front of me with the fabrics! haha

It’s insane! In all the other Videos where they tried to find out people’s color palette I never saw a change but in your video I see it finally! So fascinating!

I love these two ladies and watch their videos. I do think the analysis is worth it IF you get it done right. Getting the right colors brightens you and you no longer waste money on the wrong colors. But you have to be careful to get a well trained experienced professional. I have seen people who don’t cover hair and say it’s okay to wear makeup while being analyzed- it’s not! I like these ladies and Carol Brailey (she’s in Canada). Lots of YouTube “pros” are not pros and give bad info so it’s worth it but only if you hire someone who is a tested pro.
