One of the greatest tenors of all time, Caruso was born in 1873 and died in 1921 at the age of 48.
'A Vucchella was recorded by Victrola on 8th September 1919 and released on the His Master's Voice label cat no. D.A.103 in the UK.
Electrical recording wasn't introduced until 1925 therefore all his recordings were accoustically recorded and lack the higher fidelity of electrical recordings.
