ive just realized ive never left a comment on one of your videos before, so i just want to thank you for essentially teaching me how to draw humans lol. i’m slightly exaggerating, but it’s still accurate. ive been drawing animals since i was a little kid, to the point where i never started to learn how to draw people until november 2021. your videos on anatomy helped _so_ much!!!
your videos in general help me with my art so much. i usually have a hard time understanding most art tutorial videos (a lot of stuff just flies _right_ over my head sometimes lol), but you explain complicated stuff like form and anatomy simply enough to make it easy to understand, without talking down to the viewer. plus, your voice is so relaxing, and combined with the lo-fi music (i’m usually not a fan of lo-fi, but i love the music you use), it feels so nice and calming and i just love it sm. i always drop everything to watch your most recent uploads lol

anyway, on the topic of this video: this inspired me to get off my butt and start doing some more pinterest studies lol. i just got out of a _nasty_ art block, so im trying to kind of catch up on what i missed out on (bc i was so unmotivated and drained) if that makes sense? basically thank you ❤

This video really helped me, Blue. Two key things were looking up dancer poses and not focusing on the shape too much.

Often times I would look up pose references, but often times the models were wearing clothing. Even when I searched underwear model, the poses were not very challenging.

Focusing on just trying to sketch the gesture made learning the shapes a lot easier for me as well. I would always try to slowly draw each arm or leg and it always just looked weird to me..but focusing on just the gesture has really helped!!

I’m looking forward to your next video! Breaking down reference is really difficult!

I will be back later for this video just wanted to say I started to practice human anatomy with your previous videos and just wanted to thank you because they helped me with understanding the shapes that are used in anatomy and made my life easier. Again thank you and keep good work 😁

This came at the most perfect time ever. I’ve been wanting to do anatomy studies but been… procrastinating.. And this video really helped.

not to mention i was trying to find an equivalent to your csp brush LITERALLY EARLIER TODAY, and then this comes. as a procreate user, I really appreciate it. And i discovered i really like using the narinder pencil aswell!

Anyway, great content as always, youre such an inspiration to me and i love all your tutorials and speedpaints. Thank you for doing what you do :)

this artist is so humble (or maybe conscientious), it makes for such a likable personality and enjoyable video

Thank you so much for this! I have been drawing cartoons since I was little, and only recently I decided I've gotten good enough with cartoon anatomy that I need to learn real anatomy. Especially since a character I just fell in love with has much more realistic body proportions than what I'm used to lol. It made me feel better when you said that drawing the head too big for the body was something you struggle with, because that's one of my biggest challenges right now, from years of only drawing cartoons. So thanks!

This really motivated me to actually start using references and practicing and studying. Everytime I actually get a moment to sit down and do it I always end up putting it off and for some reason I hate references. But this really motivated me and I’m going to try my best and get a lot better

Stonehouse's Anatomy by Seok Jung Hyun has a lot of detail about anatomy, i also recommend trying to memerizing the bones and muscles, makes drawing people and anamals so much easer
